Romania agricultural funding: Local investment session closes and AIPA resumes payments
Agricultural funding updates in Romania involve both local investment sessions and the resumption of complementary payments.
A session for local-level investments, managed through GAL and AFIR, has concluded. This session featured a total budget of 720,000 euros, with a maximum support value of 60,000 euros per project provided as 100% non-reimbursable funding. The application period for this specific call ran from September 22 to November 5, 2025.
Separately, the Agency for Agricultural Intervention and Payments (AIPA) has announced the resumption of the authorization process for complementary payments for applications submitted in 2025. Following a decision by the national monitoring committee, unused funds from other subsidy forms within the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Environmental Development (FNDAMR) will be redistributed to cover approximately 3,700 remaining applications. These funds will support measures such as organic farming development, investment credits, and plantation clearing.
