Romania allocates 11 million lei for Aiud health centre, Moldova receives €10 million HIV/TB grant

Romania's Ministry of Health reported that more than 11 million lei was disbursed this week to 19 health‑related projects across the country. One of the allocations funds the creation of an Integrated Community Centre in the town of Aiud, involving the refurbishment and modernization of a municipal building to improve public‑administrative services and health‑care access.

Separately, the Moldovan government secured a non‑repayable grant of €10 million to finance programmes for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections and tuberculosis. The funds cover activities on both sides of the Dniester and are earmarked for the 2026‑2029 period, aiming to strengthen the nation's public‑health response.
