Romania and Moldova publish July 2 2026 currency exchange rate updates
Romanian financial platforms highlight ways to optimise Euro‑Leu conversions on 2 July 2026, recommending real‑time interbank quotes, BNR reference rates and offers from major banks. The Wise service is noted for using the market‑average rate without commercial mark‑ups and for providing alerts and historical charts to help corporate treasuries and frequent converters manage cost risk.
Moldovan authorities released the official exchange rates for the same date: one euro equals 20.11 lei, the US dollar 17.64 lei, the Romanian leu 3.84 lei, the Russian ruble 0.22 lei and the Ukrainian hryvnia 0.?? lei. The National Energy Regulatory Agency also set maximum reference prices for petrol (27.75 lei per litre) and diesel (24.72 lei per litre) for 2 July 2026.
