Romania employment agencies launch job fairs and support projects
Employment agencies in Romania are implementing various initiatives to facilitate job placement and support the labor market. In Vaslui, the County Agency for Employment (AJOFM) is organizing a job fair on October 9, 2026, specifically targeting 2026 graduates and individuals seeking new employment opportunities. The event aims to connect employers directly with potential candidates to reduce unemployment and bridge the gap for young people lacking professional experience.
Simultaneously, the HOPE (Hope for a Stable Future) project, implemented by the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) and involving AJOFM Bistrița-Năsăud, is providing support to over 4,500 registered individuals. Funded by the European Social Fund Plus (FSE+), this initiative offers measures such as activation and hiring bonuses to assist long-term unemployed persons, people with disabilities, refugees, and those from marginalized communities. The project also provides subsidies to employers who hire from these target groups to encourage workforce integration.
