Romania fuel prices: Gasoline and diesel market trends

Fuel prices in Romania show varying trends for early September. Gasoline prices have seen slight decreases in certain counties, with some stations offering prices below 9.5 lei per liter. The lowest recorded gasoline price is 9.49 lei in Iernut, Mureș county. In major cities, gasoline is priced at 9.69 lei in Cluj-Napoca, 9.60 lei in Timișoara, and 9.73 lei in Bucharest, Iași, and Constanța.

Diesel prices generally remain above the 10 lei per liter threshold across most of the country. The most affordable diesel is found in Albești, Mureș county, at 9.96 lei per liter. Notably, the average diesel price has decreased by 6.8% compared to last month.

LPG prices vary by location, with the lowest rates in Cluj-Napoca at 4.59 lei per liter and Bucharest at 4.63 lei per liter. While the average gasoline price has increased by 0.2% compared to the previous month, diesel costs have seen a significant monthly reduction.
