Romania hosts major musical events in Bucharest and Iași

Several major musical events took place in Romania, highlighting both international cultural cooperation and national institutional milestones.

In Bucharest, the National Operetta and Musical Theatre Ion Dacian hosted the “Voice of Friendship” concert. Organized by the Albanian League in Romania (ALAR) to open the 8th edition of Albanian Culture Days, the event featured Romanian and Albanian artists. The repertoire blended universal lyric works by composers such as Puccini and Bizet with Romanian and Albanian traditional music.

In Iași, thousands of people gathered at the Theater Park for the 15th edition of the “Magic of the Evening in Sound and Light” gala. Organized by the National Opera Iași (ONRI), the free outdoor event featured the institution's orchestra, choir, and ballet. The program included arias from composers including Mozart, Verdi, and Wagner, marking a special year as the institution celebrates its 70th anniversary.
