Romania invests in school infrastructure and canteen modernization

In Romania, the Sânpetru municipality has allocated funds for the development of the new Green School. A contract worth approximately 267,825 lei has been awarded to Crescendo Optim for furniture and equipment, including desks, magnetic boards, and lockers. Additionally, over 32,000 lei will be used for the ‘First Backpack’ program, providing 131 preparatory class students with complete sets of school supplies.

Separately, the Romanian Government, through the Agency for International Development Cooperation (RoAid), is funding the modernization of canteens at five schools in the Transnistria region. This 265,000 lei investment aims to provide modern equipment and furniture to improve dining conditions for nearly 2,000 students. The project involves institutions including the ‘Mihai Eminescu’ and ‘Alexandru cel Bun’ theoretical high schools in Bender, as well as several other local schools.
