Romania law enforcement responds to noise disturbances and violent confrontations
Law enforcement agencies in Romania have responded to multiple incidents involving public order disturbances and noise complaints.
In the Colibița tourist area, the Bistrița-Năsăud County Gendarmerie intervened following several calls regarding loud music. During their operations, authorities issued two fines of 2,000 lei each: one for lighting fires in unauthorized forest areas and another for driving vehicles into hunting grounds.
In Bucharest's Sector 3, a party escalated into a violent confrontation with law enforcement. After police and gendarmerie arrived to address loud music on Iosifești Street, approximately 30 people reportedly became aggressive. Thirteen individuals were taken for questioning after allegedly attacking officers with stones, bottles, and glasses. One 27-year-old man was immobilized and handcuffed following a prior sanction for the same disturbance.
