Romania recalls roe salad product after Listeria detection

The Romanian National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) announced a voluntary recall of the product “Gustări pescărești – Salată de icre cu hering şi ceapă” (70 g) produced by NEGRO 2000 SRL. The recall targets lot 1363PB, which carries an expiration date of 25 June 2026, after Listeria monocytogenes was detected in the product.

The affected items have been sold in Profi supermarkets across several counties, including Prahova, Giurgiu, Teleorman, Călăraşi, Dâmboviţa, Buzău, Argeş, Ialomiţa and Brăila. Consumers who purchased the roe salad are advised not to consume it and may return the product to any Profi store for a full refund upon presenting the purchase receipt.
