Romania's Brașov and Constanța counties modernize key roads under Anghel Saligny program

County Council vice‑president Daniel Şoim inspected progress on the DJ 104D modernization linking Brașov to Sibiu. Work on the 15.355 km segment is about 50 % complete, with a contract worth roughly 70 million lei funded from the county budget and the national Angél Saligny investment programme. Officials expect the project to finish ahead of schedule, improving regional connectivity, economic development and access to the European TEN‑T corridor.

In Constanța County, Council president Florin Mitroi signed a contract to upgrade DJ 393 on the Techirghiol‑Arsa route. The 23.541 km road will be widened, its carriageway fully rebuilt and safety measures introduced, funded by the same Angél Saligny programme. The upgrade aims to enhance mobility between Techirghiol, Moșneni, Pecineaga and Arsa, reducing travel times and supporting local economic growth.
