AUR chief George Simion urges early parliamentary elections in Romania

AUR leader George Simion, speaking to Romanian expatriates in Italy, declared that "there are very high chances of early elections" and urged a government and president that "stand with the Romanian people." He criticised the current administration, claiming it hampers entrepreneurs and agricultural development.

In Romania, AUR county president Samuel Miclău echoed the call, describing the political situation as a "grave crisis" and stating that the only solution is to hold snap parliamentary elections. Miclău also attacked USR and PSD, alleging mental problems and corruption, and cited a recent NGO funding case as evidence of misuse of public money.

AUR vice‑president Dan Dungaciu similarly condemned PSD’s policies, labeling them a "political inculturation" and supporting the party’s push for early elections. The campaign "AUR te Aude" continues across localities, urging supporters to mobilise for the anticipated vote.
