Romanian cities add new parking spaces and road repairs
The Bucharest City Hall of Sector 6 has opened 80 new paid parking spaces in the ANL Constantin Brâncuși district, raising the sector’s total public parking spots to 2,670. The fee is 1 leu per hour, with day passes for 7 lei and monthly passes for 60 lei, and free use overnight. Payments can be made via the eSector6 and AmParcat apps, SMS, or cash at self‑service machines.
In Timișoara, the municipal road agency (SDM) announced its work schedule for 20 July 2026, covering street, sidewalk, curb, bridge, passage and overpass maintenance. The agency also completed the creation of 70 new parking spaces on Luminița Boțoc Street in the Lipova area after demolishing old garages, alongside resurfacing streets and renovating sidewalks and accesses.
