Romanian cities celebrate summer with free outdoor events
Constanța opened its "Weekend de Constanța" program with a steampunk‑themed transformation of the Park at the Lighthouse, live classical concerts in front of the Casino, creative workshops, games and an outdoor film screening on the seafront. The municipality reported hundreds of participants enjoying the festive atmosphere.
In Brașov, organizers launched the first telenovela‑themed dance night at a downtown hotel, where attendees dressed as favourite soap‑opera characters and sang and danced to popular TV‑show songs. The novelty event attracted dozens of locals and tourists, marking the debut of the concept in the city.
Both events aim to animate public spaces, promote cultural leisure and attract visitors during the summer season.
