Romanian cities roll out transport upgrades and face power cuts

In Bucharest, the public‑transport operator STB reported that almost 30 ticket‑sale and recharge points have been disconnected after the electricity supplier, Tinmar Energy, cut power due to unpaid debts of roughly €30 million. STB attributed the outages to “temporary technical problems,” while the supplier cited legal procedures for disconnecting consumption points. A detailed list of the affected locations across several city sectors was published.
