Romanian coast sees new beach contest and growing day‑trip tourism

Neversea Beach on the Black Sea launched a contest giving away three double‑ticket packages. Winners receive two sunbeds, an umbrella, a towel, water, coffee and access to the children’s playground. To enter, participants must like the Delta TV and CTnews Facebook pages, comment and tag a companion, and share the post publicly. The draw will take place on July 18, with tickets claimable until August 31. Neversea Beach spans 4,000 m², offering 600 sunbeds, lounge areas, beach bars, restaurants, a 700‑seat terrace, sports facilities and free transport from a nearby parking lot, with additional services for people with disabilities.

At the same time, day‑trip tours along Romania’s coastline are gaining popularity. Prices range from 200 to 600 lei and include visits to vineyards, historic forts, boat rides and traditional villages. Organisers highlight six themed experiences covering culinary, historical, local‑people and adventure aspects of Dobrogea. Tourists appreciate the chance to explore unique coastal attractions beyond the typical beach stay, with operators offering activities such as grape‑picking, fruit harvesting and guided walks.
