Romanian communes launch medical staff recruitment competitions

The commune of Mândra will hold a competitive exam on 22 July 2026 to fill a permanent contract position for a community medical assistant. Candidates must hold Romanian or EU citizenship, be fluent in Romanian, meet health and legal criteria, and have the required qualifications. Applications are accepted between 30 June and 14 July 2026.

Separately, the Military Unit 01063 in Târgu Jiu announced a contest for the post of chief medical officer. The role requires a specialist doctor in family medicine with at least five years of experience and a security clearance for classified information. The selection process includes written, physical, and practical exams scheduled throughout July 2026, with the winner entering a four‑year contract with the Ministry of National Defence.
