Romanian county and city councils approve infrastructure and land transfers
The Argeș County Council held an extraordinary session on 20 July to approve updated financial documents for the modernization of County Road 679, a 47.7‑km route linking multiple localities and the Olt County border. The revised investment budget totals 345,630,020 lei, reflecting recent fiscal and VAT changes.
Separately, the Constanța City Council convened an extraordinary meeting to vote on transferring three municipal land parcels in the Delfinariu area to the Constanța County Council. The properties, covering roughly 19,058 m², are used by the Natural Sciences Museum for public education and biodiversity projects.
Both meetings were conducted electronically and aim to secure the legal and financial framework needed to continue the respective projects without delay.
