Romanian cultural heritage preservation efforts in diaspora communities

Cultural preservation efforts are being highlighted through individual and community initiatives within the Romanian-speaking diaspora. In Serbia, Liliana Dragodan, a young performer from the Banat Serb community, has dedicated nearly a decade to Romanian folklore, using song and dance to maintain her cultural heritage.

In Norway, Snejana Teclia has established 'Căsuța Licuriciului', a volunteer-based school where Moldovan children gather every Saturday to learn the Romanian language. The school aims to provide a sense of community and connection to ancestral roots for immigrant families, helping children maintain their identity while integrating into a new country.
