Romanian emergency services rescue cardiac patient and injured hiker

A 54‑year‑old man from an urban area suffered an acute cardiac episode in Satu Mare. Emergency crews stabilized him and, using a SMURD helicopter, air‑lifted him to the Cardiology Department of Dr. Constantin Opriș Hospital in Baia Mare for advanced treatment.

Separately, a 59‑year‑old man was badly injured at the head after becoming lost in the forest near Boboiești, Neamț. After three hours of searching, forest staff located him and SMURD personnel transferred him to the Emergency Department of Târgu‑Neamț City Hospital for specialist care. Both incidents illustrate coordinated medical response by Romanian emergency services.
