The 12th edition of the Romanian Film Days festival is taking place in Chisinau, Moldova, from September 17 to 20. The event features various sections, including Focus, New Films, and Retro, showcasing both recent award-winning productions and heritage cinema.
The festival opens with the film ‘Cercul’, directed by Valeriu Andriuță, a co-production filmed entirely in Moldova. Other featured titles include ‘După dealuri’, ‘Piatră-hârtie-foarfecă’, ‘Atlasul universului’, ‘Robinson Crusoe’, ‘Parașutiștii’, and ‘Drumul oaselor’. The ‘New Films’ section includes the debut feature ‘Y’ by Maria Popistașu and Alexandru Băciu.
