Romanian hospitals expand medical teams in Sibiu and Târgu Jiu

Several Romanian hospitals are expanding their medical teams to improve specialized patient care.

The Sibiu Pneumophthisiology Hospital has added Dr. Vlad Buzăianu, a medical rehabilitation specialist, to its staff. This addition aims to provide respiratory rehabilitation programs, which complement medication by improving breathing capacity, exercise tolerance, and overall quality of life for patients with pulmonary conditions.

In Târgu Jiu, the County Emergency Hospital has secured two young cardiologists, Dr. Cătălin Pirtea and Dr. Ionuț-Cezar Buciu. Both doctors have been performing duties at the facility for over two years and were recently admitted to residency positions in cardiology. Their integration brings the Cardiology Department's team to seven doctors, intended to ensure continuity and quality of medical services.
