Romanian Institute Brings Brâncuși Urban Art Project to Belgrade
The Romanian Cultural Institute, using the Cantemir Programme, is sponsoring the “Un‑hidden Connections” project in Belgrade, Serbia, which reinterprets sculptor Constantin Brâncuși’s work through urban art.
The program includes an exhibition of 14 Romanian street‑art pieces displayed on 18 panels, two public debates with cultural managers and artists from Romania and Serbia, two workshops led by Romanian artists, and multidisciplinary performances that blend live painting with DJ sets by Serbian musicians.
The initiative seeks to present Brâncuși’s legacy to the Serbian public and foster cultural dialogue across the Romanian‑Serbian border.
