Romanian local authorities spend over 6.7 million lei on town hall renovations and HVAC maintenance

The town hall in Sângeorz‑Băi, Romania, has invested 2.7 million lei in an energy‑efficiency refurbishment and launched an additional tender for works worth 750 000 lei. The renovation covers replacement of the roof, windows, insulation, heating system, LED lighting, an electric‑vehicle charging station and other interior upgrades.

Separately, the Bucharest City Hall issued a public procurement bid valued at more than 4.1 million lei to maintain its central office's heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems. The contract, lasting 48 months, requires 24‑hour service, preventive and corrective maintenance, energy‑consumption monitoring and possible modernisation of the HVAC equipment.
