Two weeks later, attention shifted to budgetary allocations and regulatory enforcement. Bucharest’s Sector 6 council approved a dramatic 186 % increase in the annual budget of the urban‑design firm CIPU, boosting its 2026 funding to 19.8 million lei despite a reported loss the previous year. Simultaneously, the Resita municipal council amended its public‑space ordinance to impose fines on unpermitted terrace activities and other violations, tightening control over the use of public and private spaces.
