Romanian municipalities allocate millions to modernize schools in Caracal and Năvodari
The city of Caracal will refurbish the Ioniță Asan Technical High School and its dormitory using non‑repayable EU funds. Mayor Ion Doldurea said the work will improve safety, energy efficiency and create a modern learning environment for students.
In the coastal town of Năvodari, a separate €9‑million‑plus project will equip schools and kindergartens with interactive whiteboards, laptops, sound systems, video‑conference equipment, robotics kits and new furniture. Mayor Florin Chelaru highlighted that the new devices are intended to transform classroom teaching and support teachers.
Both initiatives are part of broader municipal efforts to upgrade educational infrastructure and raise the quality of instruction in Romania.
