Romanian political figures conduct regional tours and address election concerns

In Suceava County, Gheorghe Șoldan, President of the Suceava County Council, conducted a tour of local communes, including Pârteștii de Jos. Accompanied by Vice President Nicolae Robu and Mayor Spiridon Mireuță, Șoldan inspected various infrastructure projects. Key highlights included renovations at the ‘Nicanor Moroșan’ Technological High School, which features new heating systems and solar panels, as well as ongoing construction for a kindergarten in Deleni and local parking improvements.

Separately, former presidential candidate Călin Georgescu held a public gathering in Cisnădie, Sibiu County. During his speech, Georgescu emphasized supporting domestic producers to bolster the Romanian economy. He also addressed the annulled 2024 elections, calling for the declassification of documents related to the decision to cancel the vote, asserting that citizens deserve free, fair, and transparent presidential and parliamentary elections.
