Romanian prosecutors seize assets worth over 1.5 million lei in Cluj as part of Operation Jupiter

Prosecutors attached to the Cluj‑Napoca courthouse have imposed precautionary measures on the assets of a commercial company and its administrator. The seizure, ordered under the national anti‑corruption initiative known as Operation Jupiter, totals more than 1.526 million lei. Authorities indicated that the measures aim to secure the proceeds of the alleged criminal activity while investigations continue.

The action reflects ongoing efforts by Romanian law‑enforcement to combat financial misconduct and recover assets linked to suspected illegal schemes.
