Romania finalises diverse PNRR projects across research, energy, education and digitalisation
On 30 June 2026 Romania announced the completion of several projects funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
The George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology in Târgu Mureș finished a three‑year research programme on HIV‑1 matrix protein p17 variants, funded with 5.66 million lei of non‑reimbursable PNRR support.
CONNECT GREEN PROJECT completed a 6.25 MW photovoltaic power plant with a 1.44 MWh storage installation in Ganeasa, Ilfov, allocating 9.03 million lei of eligible PNRR funding and aiming to cut annual CO₂ emissions by about 4.9 kt.
The municipality of Lipova equipped its schools with modern IT, laboratory and sports equipment, spending 3.78 million lei (eligible‑fund amount 3.17 million lei) on digitalising classrooms and labs.
Forelit SRL in Salard, Bihor, finished a digitalisation project that introduced ERP software, hardware and staff training, receiving 473,286 lei of non‑reimbursable PNRR aid.
INIDAN SRL in Târgu Jiu, Gorj, completed its own digitalisation scheme, obtaining 170,689 lei of PNRR grant to boost productivity and meet digital‑economy criteria.
