Romanian universities host scientific and career development events

Academic institutions in Romania held events focused on scientific promotion and career guidance. Aurel Vlaicu University in Arad organized the 2026 edition of ‘Researchers’ Day’ as part of the international Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. The event aimed to foster dialogue between the academic community and the public, with a specific emphasis on STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The program included the fifth edition of the ‘Researchers’ Day’ competition, featuring over 32 teams from local schools and high schools presenting scientific experiments and projects.

In Iași, journalist Dragoș Pătraru delivered a conference titled ‘Today’s Education, Tomorrow’s Career’ at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University during the sixth edition of the ‘Tudor Vladimirescu Campus Days’. The session focused on navigating the modern labor market, the importance of perseverance, and understanding employee rights. Pătraru encouraged students to develop independent ideals and discussed the challenges young people face when entering the workforce.
