Romania launches online registration for Rabla Auto 2026 incentive program

The Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM) will open online registration for individuals in the Rabla Auto 2026 program on 20 July 2026 at 10:00. The session runs until 31 December 2026 or until the allocated budget of 300 million lei is exhausted. Applicants can apply through the AFM portal and must upload a completed financing request, a valid identity document, a fiscal certificate from the national tax authority (not older than 90 days), and a local tax certificate (not older than 30 days). Each person may receive up to two ecotickets, with values of up to 18,500 lei for a new 100 % electric or hydrogen‑fuel‑cell vehicle, 15,000 lei for a plug‑in hybrid or electric motorcycle, 12,000 lei for a hybrid vehicle, and 10,000 lei for a thermal‑engine vehicle.

AFM President Florin Bănică said, “Am pus la dispoziţia cetăţenilor un material video informativ care prezintă, într-o manieră clară şi accesibilă, paşii necesari pentru înscrierea persoanelor fizice în aplicaţia programului,” adding that the goal is “asigurarea unui proces de înscriere cât mai transparent.” The video guide and detailed instructions are available on the AFM website.
