Beach, Please! festival shatters attendance record in Romania

The fifth‑anniversary edition of the Beach, Please! festival in Costinești, Romania, drew a record 155,000 attendees in a single day, the highest turnout ever for a European music event. International hip‑hop stars Future and Quavo performed live in Romania for the first time, joined by INNA, B.U.G. Mafia and other performers.

A highlight of the festival was an emotional tribute titled “the grandmother story,” where influencer Selly and teenage fan Yausuf honored Yausuf’s late grandmother before the massive crowd. Organisers also unveiled plans for NIBIRU, a €50 million, 46‑day entertainment complex opening on 16 July, featuring concerts, an outdoor amusement park, restaurants and sports facilities.

The festival ran from 8–12 July 2026 and featured additional headline acts such as Playboi Carti, Don Toliver, Tyla and many Romanian artists, cementing the event as a cultural milestone for the Romanian Black Sea coast.
