Romania's CNAS unveils e‑Sanatatea Mea portal for online health data access
The National Health Insurance House (CNAS) announced that the e‑Sanatatea Mea portal, part of the new PIAS health‑insurance IT platform, will become operational by the end of the summer. The portal will let patients securely view their full medical history, electronic prescriptions, treatment details and medical devices, and will include a national appointment scheduler to streamline access to care.
CNAS President Horatiu‑Remus Moldovan thanked Health Minister Attila Cseke and former ministers for supporting the legislation. The initiative also received cross‑party parliamentary backing.
Starting 1 January 2026, the co‑insured status will be removed, and individuals can verify their health‑insurance status and family‑doctor registration online through CNAS’s SIUI system without needing to log in. Users simply enter their personal numeric code and a verification code to see current status.
