Rome and Lecce impose new traffic restrictions

In Rome, heavy vehicles are barred from viale Eritrea between via Lucrino and via Lago di Lesina from July 20 to August 13, with detours affecting the surrounding streets. Bus lines 38, 80, 88 and night services are rerouted, and the Lepanto metro station remains closed until August 30 for line renovation, directing passengers to use Ottaviano.

In Lecce, Via XXV Luglio has been designated a permanent limited‑traffic zone. The electric filobus will continue to run along its current route after a technical assessment confirms the new pavement can bear its weight, while other buses are redirected to viale Cavallotti. The change also eliminates 74 parking spaces in the area.
