Rome: 13-year-old stabs teacher in Centocelle school

A 13-year-old student at the Giovanni Verga middle school in Centocelle, Rome, attacked his 66-year-old teacher, Isabella Marsilio, with a knife. The teacher sustained three wounds to her side but was discharged from the hospital.

Investigators are examining whether the minor was radicalized by online white supremacist or accelerationist groups. The student reportedly wore a shirt with the acronym 'Tmd' (Total Muslim Death) and had consumed propaganda from figures such as Anders Behring Breivik and Brenton Harrison Tarrant.

The attack was documented using a GoPro camera mounted on a military-style helmet. Evidence suggests the student planned the event, posting a countdown on TikTok and messages on social media inviting others to watch the news. While initial reports suggested five viewers, updated findings indicate approximately 22 people may have watched the live-streamed assault via Telegram. Authorities are currently investigating the 'True Crime Community' and potential international extremist networks that may have encouraged or provided technical guidance for the attack.
