Rome East: Arson attack and explosion target business owner

A series of targeted attacks occurred in the eastern suburbs of Rome, involving arson and an explosion. Security footage from an auto dealership on via Prenestina captured two hooded individuals pouring flammable liquid on vehicles at approximately 2:45 AM on October 20. The resulting fire destroyed nine cars and one van.

Shortly before the arson, a rudimentary explosive device, possibly a paper bomb, detonated in front of the owners' residence in the Castelverde area. While the blast damaged a gate and part of the entrance structure, no injuries were reported.

The owner of the dealership, Luciano Incalza, released the footage and expressed anger toward the perpetrators, describing them as 'cowards.' Authorities and firefighters responded to both scenes, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact causes and motives behind the incidents.
