Liceo Righi in Rome targeted by rape list and swastika

A rape list containing the names of current and former students, accompanied by a swastika, was discovered in the male bathrooms of the Liceo Scientifico Augusto Righi in Rome. The incident occurred at the school's branch in via Boncompagni around October 16-19.

Student groups, including the Delta list and the Ludus collective, have issued strong condemnations of the act. The Delta list clarified that the graffiti appeared during an event they had organized, emphasizing their repudiation of the gesture and its underlying ideology. The Ludus collective noted that while the physical graffiti was removed, the culture that generates such violence must be dismantled.

School principal Giovanni Cogliandro described the incident as an ‘abominable action’ and reaffirmed the institution's commitment to active prevention of violence and patriarchal influences within the school environment.
