Rome highlights luxury design in residential and hospitality sectors

Rome continues to offer diverse high-end experiences ranging from unique residential interior design to luxury hospitality. In one notable residential project, architect and interior designer Alessandra Villani transformed a 150-square-meter apartment in a historic 19th-century building. The design features an eclectic style that balances vintage pieces with modern elements, such as the use of Klein blue to create visual depth against original 1928 marble flooring.

The city's luxury accommodation sector also features several high-profile design landmarks. Palazzo Talia, located near the Trevi Fountain, was designed by director Luca Guadagnino within a 16th-century palace. The Romeo Roma hotel, designed by architect Zaha Hadid, offers contemporary art influences and dining by chef Alain Ducasse. Other notable options include G-Rough, which offers an artistic atmosphere with a wine-bar-style check-in, and Casa Monti, a residence reimagined for artists.
