Rome police conduct large-scale security operation near Termini station

Police forces conducted a large-scale security operation in the central areas of Rome, specifically targeting the axis between the Termini station and the Esquilino and Viminale districts. The integrated strategy involved the State Police, Guardia di Finanza, Local Police, and various social and municipal services.

During the operation, authorities identified over 200 people. The intervention focused on several areas, including combating irregular immigration, addressing commercial illegalities, conducting administrative and hygiene checks, and managing urban decay. The crackdown resulted in four deportation orders for foreign nationals and the closure of two local businesses. Additionally, social services were deployed to assist vulnerable individuals identified during the security sweeps.
