Rome police conduct security operations in Esquilino and Prenestino
Carabinieri conducted security operations in the Esquilino and Prenestino neighborhoods of Rome, resulting in two arrests and four reported offenses. The actions were part of a strategic plan to improve public safety and suppress crime.
In the Esquilino area, a 34-year-old man was arrested for theft after attempting to flee a commercial establishment with stolen clothing. During the incident, the suspect reportedly pushed a security guard.
In the Prenestino area near the Santa Maria del Soccorso metro station, a 55-year-old man was arrested for drug dealing after being caught selling cocaine. Police recovered 18 additional doses and 210 euros in cash. Additionally, a 19-year-old was reported for selling hashish, and a 17-year-old was also involved in the reported offenses.
