Rome security operations lead to multiple arrests in San Basilio and Tiburtina

A coordinated interforce security operation in the San Basilio and Tiburtina areas of Rome has resulted in multiple arrests and legal reports. The initiative involved the Polizia di Stato, Polizia Locale, Guardia di Finanza, and Ama spa, focusing on crime prevention and urban cleanup in high-traffic areas including Metro B stations Ponte Mammolo and Rebibbia.

Law enforcement officials arrested a 48-year-old man for a pharmacy robbery in Forte Tiburtino, a 31-year-old for possession of cocaine and cash hidden in a vehicle, and a third individual for theft. Additionally, police recovered a stolen van in the Tiburtina area containing stolen tools; two individuals, aged 40 and 58, were reported to authorities for theft and receiving stolen goods.

In conjunction with law enforcement, Ama spa conducted cleaning and removal of debris in several neighborhoods and metro stations to improve public usability and safety. During the patrols, authorities also intercepted three individuals in a vehicle bearing diplomatic plates that was inconsistent with their nationality.
