He clarified that a R$ 1 million donation from Henrique Vorcaro, father of Banco Master owner Daniel Vorcaro, was made to the Novo party by mistake, not to his own campaign. Zema also called for the introduction of printed ballots in a portion of Brazil’s electronic voting machines to bolster confidence in elections.
