Romina Hinojosa completes historic Tour de France Femmes

Romina Hinojosa has made history as the first Mexican cyclist to complete the Tour de France Femmes. Competing for the Lotto-Intermarché team, Hinojosa finished the fifth edition of the race in 113th place in the general classification, with a total time of 33:48:33.

Hinojosa showed significant improvement throughout the competition, climbing eight positions in the final stage to finish 91st for the day. Her achievement is notable for her ability to endure the physical demands of the elite race, which saw more than 40 riders withdraw during the week.

Mexican cyclist Isaac del Toro, who recently competed in the Pogi Challenge in Slovenia, traveled to France to support Hinojosa during the final stages of the race. Del Toro, who recently extended his contract with UAE Team Emirates through 2031, was present to cheer on his partner as she concluded her historic performance.
