Ron Duguay battles Stage 4 colon cancer

Former New York Rangers star Ron Duguay is facing a serious battle with Stage 4 colon cancer. His daughter, Shay Thomas, has issued a public plea for prayers following recent updates on his declining health.

Duguay, 69, was diagnosed with the disease approximately one year ago. The cancer has since spread to his liver, resulting in significant medical complications including internal bleeding, ulcers, and dehydration. In July, Duguay was hospitalized after being found unconscious following a fall at his home.

Thomas shared an emotional update on social media, including a photograph of her father in a hospital bed. She noted that while his medical numbers have fluctuated, his family is seeking support as he continues to undergo treatment and manage the physical toll of the illness.
