Rondônia students represent state at national science fair

Two students from the Marechal Cordeiro de Farias State School in Pimenta Bueno are representing the state of Rondônia at the XVI Science, Engineering, and Technology Fair (Fetec/MS) in Campo Grande.

Students Nethelly Boritza and Jhennifer Delmonico are presenting their project, ‘EcoDigestor’ (also known as a Biodigestor), under the guidance of teacher Priscila Pomini. Their participation follows a first-place win at the II Rondônia Science, Innovation, and Educational Technology Fair (Expocitec-RO), organized by the State Secretariat of Education (Seduc).

The national event, promoted by the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), brings together scientific projects from various regions of Brazil. Rondônia officials emphasized that supporting research and innovation in state schools is essential for academic development and student leadership.
