Rosario airport cargo operations surge ahead of Santa Fe Business Forum

During the first half of 2026, the Rosario International Airport handled 1,942 cargo flights, including 1,133 international operations—a 16.4% rise over 2024, 32.5% over 2023, and 80.9% over the same period in 2022. The airport now accounts for 58.3% of all air‑freight movements in Santa Fe province, with total aircraft movements reaching 4,623, an 18% increase from 2025. Nearby Sauce Viejo Airport also posted growth, recording 809 cargo flights—a 25.8% jump from 2024.

The third edition of the Santa Fe Business Forum will run from August 31 to September 4, centered at La Fluvial in Rosario and extending to Santa Fe city. The event will bring together more than 250 international buyers from 50 countries and about 1,000 local companies across sectors such as food, agritech, auto parts, and metallurgy. Minister Gustavo Puccini said the forum aims to “bring the world to our firms, creating concrete opportunities for SMEs to export, grow, and generate jobs.”
