Rosario Leo seeks EU investigation into alleged systemic corruption

Rosario Leo is seeking an investigation into what he describes as ‘Il Sistema’, a conglomerate involving corrupt members of the judiciary and politics, large corporations, and organized crime. The initiative aims to prevent these criminal mechanisms from influencing current hydrogen transport infrastructure projects.

Leo has contacted all 720 members of the European Parliament to request support for an inquiry. He alleges that millions of euros in European subsidies have been diverted to organized crime and corrupt individuals in Italy. Furthermore, Leo has reached out to the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) and the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), offering extensive documentation regarding alleged violations of Italian anti-mafia laws, the Italian Constitution, and European directives over the past twenty years.
