Rosario officials advance Metro project in Mexico City

Argentine national deputy Diego Giuliano and Rosario councilman Juan Monteverde traveled to Mexico City to advance the Metro Rosario project and its initial stage, the Premetro. During the visit, they formally presented the proposal to CRRC, a leading Chinese state-owned enterprise specializing in railway technology and manufacturing, to explore technological alternatives and cooperation mechanisms.

The delegation also engaged in technical exchanges with authorities from the Mexico City and Mexican national governments to study large-scale public transport integration. They observed operational systems including Metro, Light Rail, Cablebús, and Metrobús to gather insights on planning, construction, and management for potential implementation in the Santa Fe province.
