Rosario sees expansion of Chinese commercial and gastronomic projects

Commercial activity is expanding in Rosario through new Chinese-led business ventures. A large-scale Chinese bazaar and gift shop is set to occupy the historic 1,500 m² premises at Mitre 738, which had remained vacant following the closure of Tarjeta Naranja. The entrepreneur, who already operates in Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Corrientes, and Mendoza, has begun recruiting staff for the new location.

Simultaneously, plans for a formal Chinese Barrio in Rosario are progressing. The project, led by entrepreneur Luciano Di Santo, aims to create a 200-meter corridor featuring gastronomy, commerce, and cultural services. The restaurant Lan Lan China Bowl has officially expressed interest in joining the initiative, seeking to become a gastronomic epicenter within the proposed oriental district. Approximately 70 entrepreneurs have shown interest in the development.
