Rotary Clubs in Argentina and Bolivia appoint new presidents and outline service plans

Esteban Oliva took over as president of the Rotary Club San Rafael Centro in Argentina. He emphasized continuity of long‑term projects such as classroom construction at the Escuela Corazón y Voluntad, the launch of a scholarship programme, and the expansion of international youth exchanges. Oliva also highlighted the club’s aim to strengthen member relationships and increase membership amid a broader societal decline in civic engagement.

In Bolivia, the Rotary Club Montero installed Jenny Cazón as its new president for the 2026‑2027 term, succeeding Janice Orosco. The outgoing directorate reported a year of service that included the “Regalo de Vida” program funding heart‑surgery for children, health‑education workshops, a charity cooking contest, a city‑wide run that raised funds for wheelchairs, and participation in tree‑planting and community events. Cazón pledged to maintain and expand these health and humanitarian initiatives.

Both clubs operate under Rotary International, which unites more than a million volunteers worldwide, and each new leader outlined plans to sustain and grow their local service impact.
