Rotary clubs in Brazil and Argentina elect new presidents for 2026‑27 term

The Rotary Club of Herval d’Oeste (VC) held a ceremony on 8 July 2026 to hand over its 2026‑2027 leadership. Outgoing president Zygmunt Vesoloski Neto was succeeded by Márcio Weiss, who will continue projects such as community service initiatives and the club’s international motto “Create a lasting impact.”

In Monte Hermoso, Argentina, the club’s annual transition ceremony appointed Luciana M. Aimar as the new president, succeeding Francisco Acosta. The event highlighted the historic nature of a woman leading the club after 50 years and reaffirmed commitment to traditional programs like the orthopedic bank, children’s festival, and youth involvement, while adding environmental focus to its agenda.

Both clubs emphasized the importance of local institutions in fostering social ties, volunteerism, and sustainable community development under the shared Rotary theme of delivering enduring impact.
